Philips Sonicare ProResults HX6013 Brush Head Standard 3pk

Philips Sonicare ProResults HX6013 Brush Head Standard 3pk Review

I love my Sonicare toothbrush and there are several different brush heads for it. My opinion is that these ProResults Compact Brush Heads are the best. They fit very well around and behind my teeth.

Having a 3pk makes always having a brush head available easier.

My dentist recommended the Sonicare and he also recommended the compact brush heads. He was so right. My teeth are super clean and look great. Also not so much scraping on my teeth to get the plaque off when I have my teeth cleaned every six months.

Philips Sonicare ProResults HX6013 Brush Head Standard 3pk Feature

  • Wider sweeping motion than Sonicare Elite
  • "Push on" connector makes ProResults easy to clean
  • More environmentally friendly than Sonicare Elite

Good, as expected. - L. Weng - Miami, FL.
I bought the compact brush heads, instead of the standard ones.
I do not see any significant difference between them, except for the size.
Basically, I think compact is a good choice, which is able to accomplish every "task".

Defective item - Jersey - new york, ny USA
I bought this for my Philips Sonicare. After about 7 weeks of use, the fit becomes loose and start falling off my sonicare while brushing. I discard the defective brush and use a new one. I hope it will last longer this time. The brush is bigger than what comes with the original Sonicare. I personally prefer the original version.

Just as described! - Jeffery Smith - Hillsboro, OR USA
Bought these as replacements for my new Sonicare toothbrush. These are a little spendy for what they are, but I can't live without my Sonicare so it works out.

Philips Sonicare HX6003/80 HydroClean Brush Heads, (3-Pack)

Philips Sonicare HX6003/80 HydroClean Brush Heads, (3-Pack) Review

Compared to my regular replacement heads, these heads feel much firmer and more stimulating to the gum. They also snap more firmly to my brush than do my regular heads and run more quietly.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose my regular head first. Because, however, I've already bought these and they may have some beneficial effects the regular heads lack, I've chosen to alternate the heads. I use one head to clean my teeth with baking soda, then floss, then use the other head to brush with toothpaste.

Philips Sonicare HX6003/80 HydroClean Brush Heads, (3-Pack) Feature

  • Specially designed paddles direct fluids between teeth, to get closer to the benefits of flossing
  • Fits Philips Sonicare FlexCare and HealthyWhite models

Philips Sonicare HX6003/80 HydroClean Brush Heads, (3-Pack) Overview

Philips Sonicare HydroClean Brush Heads feature specially designed paddles that direct fluids between teeth, to get closer to the benefits of flossing. Great for the price - B. Ondrey -
Not sure if others are better or not, but we really like them. Price was cheaper than other heads too.

Don't Like Them at All - Lady At The Lake -
After getting our new Healthy White SoniCare, we needed another brush head. The only ones I found while out shopping which fit the Healthy White, were the HydroClean brush heads. I don't care for these at all, since there is a thin row of bristles on the outsides. They are also scratchy on the gums. I much prefer the ProResults brush heads and would order online if need be (just to avoid the HydroClean type).

Not Impressed - Cody Thompson - Houston, TX
There are two reasons for my 2 star review. First, the brush itself is too firm. It is not at all soft. The ADA recommends brushing with a soft toothbrush. I assume they manufactured it this way to make up for my second reason. Second, the brush head has had the center bristles removed to add the gimmicky rubber channels meant to direct the water/toothpaste between teeth. While I do feel it moving the toothpaste toward my teeth when I brush, I would much rather have bristles in contact with the tooth surface. Afterall, the idea of brushing your teeth is to physically brush away the build up of plaque and tartar. Without the normal number of bristles, I don't feel I get the same results.

Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite Power Toothbrush with 2 Brushing Modes Review

I have chronic problems with my gums and see the periodontist regularly. I have used Sonicare for years, and mine finally gave out. I ordered this new, more streamlined model and I've definitely seen results. The brush head is smaller and easier to get into your mouth and along the gumline- even my dentist noticed the difference! Even if your old model works fine, I'd recommend the newer model if you have problems with your gums!

Oral-B Pulsonic Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush

Oral-B Pulsonic Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush Review

I've been using electric toothbrushes for years, but this is the first time I swayed from the basic models such as Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush. After years I finally decided to make an upgrade to a sonic one, and Pulsonic became an obvious choice.

Initially I wasn't very used to the larger brush size, but it never became a problem. The design of the brush makes it easy to reach everywhere. Since the brush now only vibrate, I need to put in more motion than before, but once again I got used to it pretty fast. I'm not very sure my teeth are now whiter than before, but I do feel like it's now less likely to have anything "grows" on my teeth a while after brushing. I guess it does clean my teeth better than the basic models.

I charged the brush once, then used it for three weeks without noticing any difference, unlike those mechanically rotating cups that the rotation power changes with time observably. It might be nicer if Oral-B puts on an indicator to show the battery level, since it's very unclear to me that how I should notice the low battery status without running out of power. To be fair I haven't tried to see what happens if I just keep using it without recharging it (so far I recharged it once after the initial charge).

I saw a lot of complaints about the robustness of some plastic parts. While I was using the basic models, I remember that I'm supposed to only lightly touch the brush onto my teeth, yet from the aging of the brushes I realized that I pressed it too hard most of the time. Given that as a reference, I didn't find any part that i too fragile. I know a lot of people brush their teeth too forcefully, my mom being one of them. It's true that the brush doesn't feel like steel, but my gut feeling is that you probably don't need to press it so hard against your teeth anyway. I don't think any plastic part in this brush is less robust than your gums, or maybe I'm lucky to receive a better one, which I found more unlikely.

Overall I like this new brush, though it might be better if Oral-B puts in an indicator for battery.

Oral-B Pulsonic Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush Feature

  • Sonic technology in our slimmest form
  • Customize your clean ? Oral-B Pulsonic offers customized brushing modes to meet your cleaning needs.
  • Promotes naturally whiter teeth by gently polishing off surface stains.
  • Whitens teeth by reducing up to 94% of surface stains in 2 weeks
  • Designed to provide a quiet, gentle clean

Oral-B Pulsonic Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush Overview

Experience Sonic Technology in our slimmest form. Oral-B's slimmest and lightest rechargeable sonic toothbrush yet is designed to provide a quiet, gentle clean. It whitens teeth by reducing up to 94% of surface stains in 2 weeks. With more than 27,000 vibrations per minute, Pulsonic's Thin Precision bristles clean and promote naturally whiter teeth while allowing effective maneuverability and control with the slim and lightweight handle design. The specially-designed Pulsonic brush head contours to the teeth to provide an effective clean, and a second Precision Tip brush head is designed to help remove plaque and stains between teeth. Oral-B Pulsonic features two customized brushing modes, Clean and Sensitive. The "Clean” mode provides an effective cleaning of your teeth, while the "Sensitive" mode is designed for the gentle care of your tongue and other sensitive areas. It's two-minute timer indicates when the dental expert recommended two-minute brushing time has been reached and an additional professional timer signals at 30-second intervals to encourage thorough brushing of the four quadrants of your mouth.

Feels "dentist" clean. - Terri Shoberg - Mpls., MN
I was skeptical about the sonic toothbrushes. My son loves his. When I asked my dentist, he said getting used to the vibration might take a bit of doing but otherwise he feels the cleaning is superior to brushing. I tried this one because the handle is slim, the charger is small & the reviews said the vibration wasn't quite as strong as the more expensive one. Also, there are 2 settings. I tried it, I use it twice a day, & I like it very much!

Love it - Ryan Sullivan - Tempe, AZ
I've had this toothbrush for a few months now and I am stil loving it. My girlfriend got a more expensive electric toothbrush and she is jealous of mine now because mine is so sleek and compact and my battery stays charged for at least a week when hers lasts a day or so before it's dead.

Great Toothbrush But May Last Only a Year - S. Lee - Fremont,CA
This is the 2nd one that I had purchased online. The first one was purchased a year ago and it just stopped working. I bought another one and it looks great and does a good job cleaning your teeth. It leaves you with that "just came from the dentist's office teeth cleaning feeling."

I hope this one lasts longer that a year.

I would give the product 5 stars if I knew it would last more than a year.

Oral-B Triumph Professional Care 9400 Power Toothbrush

Oral-B Triumph Professional Care 9400 Power Toothbrush Review

My dentist recommended the Oral-B 9400, and I've put it though its oral hygiene paces the last year. It's more expensive than many other models with similar features, but the similarity extends only so far. We've seen a proliferation of electric toothbrushes at and under, and one might wonder why more you get for your money here. I'll go over the highlights below, but suffice it to say that the 9400 works very well but is overpriced.

Power. First, any rechargeable toothbrush is going to cost significantly more--somewhere in the - range. If that's an important feature, you're already heading towards the Oral-B cost. Where this toothbrush really shines (no pun intended, I think) is its POWER. When fully charged, this baby's rotation leaves others far behind. While not as fast as a dentist's drill-toothbrush (and, really, I'm sorry to bring up that word), it resembles it more than others. The power enables the Braun to brush without slowing, even as you manually move it against your teeth.

Motion. Personally, I don't notice any action other than the rotation. I Trust that there's 3-D oscillation, but I don't feel it (maybe that's good). I'm also skeptical about their claim to a "floss-like clean." Use floss instead.

Features/Gimmicks.

1. Speed. There are three speeds; I don't think I've ever used anything but the fastest, but perhaps those with some initial sensitivity would appreciate the medium speed. I don't know why one would use the slowest speed.
2. Timing. The toothbrush is programmed to conceptualize brushing as a two minute endeavor, 30 seconds per each quadrant of your mouth (i.e., top left and right, bottom left and right). Accordingly the brush pauses briefly every 30 seconds, letting you know you've done your time, and then it's all ahead full for the next quadrant. At two minutes, there's a longer, easily perceived paused, at which point you can stop (and look at the electric face beaming at you from the handle) or keep going without having to turn it back on. I actually like the timer: Two minutes sometimes is longer than what my mind tells me, and I also spend as much time on the last section I brush as the first.
3. Ease of use. This is a substantial electric toothbrush, but as long as you don't have muscle issues in your hand or wrist, that shouldn't be a problem. It's quite maneuverable and it has an excellent reach. The charge lasts two weeks or more, and I recharge overnight.
4. Toothbrush Bristles. The toothbrush head contains an assortment of bristles, both softer and stiffer, and varying in length and angle. Supposedly these armaments help you tackle various oral scenarios such as food stuck between the teeth, massaging gum lines, reaching distal areas. Again, I don't think these are any substitute for flossing, but they do seem better than a conventional brush. The heads last around 3-4 months or so, and replacements are available, although at a absurdly high price. I;m still not sure how I'm supposed to know it's time for a new head, however.
5. Noise. In normal use, the Braun is medium loud, you probably won't disturb anyone if you keep the door closed, but you may if you don't.
At times, either toothpaste residue or a loose head seens to cause a high rattling sound; this just requires some cleaning or tightening.

Cost: This model has just zoomed up in price aat Amazon.com since I bought it. I suggest you shop around and see what else is available (either this model at other stores, or other models), and whether the "extras" here are really worth it.

One person's gimmick is another's brushing motivation, so it's a personal decision--although also one that should be made in consult with one's dentist. Overall, a powerful, effective, reliable, but costly toothbrush.

Rechargeable Throw Away - M. Pluchino - USA
I am extremely disappointed in the Braun Triumph 9000. I purchased it on 3/04/2006 and now the battery will not charge. I followed the care instructions and did a discharge every 6 months hoping that the battery would last a little longer, but it still will not charge correctly. I called Braun customer service and explained the problem and was told the handle is no longer good. they said they only last about 5 years. Perhaps Braun should advise the consumer that the unit is going to be disposed of in 5 years. I was offered a dollar coupon or a replacement handle that would cost . It is very frustrating to have to purchase another handle when the whole unit costs about 0.(Sam's club) I have to really think about purchasing another Braun brush verses another similar product by another manufacturer. Perhaps I will get more than 5 years out of another company.

My Favorite Toothbrush - Merrymaker -
This is an excellent product, in my opinion. Here are some of my notes:

1. I have used my Oral-B Triumph Professional Care 9400 Power Toothbrush for about a year without any problems.
2. The toothbrush digitally indicates when it needs charging.
3. The charge is relatively long-lasting. (I have noticed that my battery indicator will blink when it is low and will continue to blink once plugged in although it is charging at this point).
4. The base station has a small footprint, with a place to store the toothbrush heads.
5. The portable charger takes up little space, and is especially useful for travel.
6. The toothbrush indicates a smiley face at the end of your two-minute clean.
7. It will also show a toothbrush head when it is time to change to a new head.
8. The toothbrush promotes two-minute cleans, 30 seconds for each quarter of the mouth. The toothbrush pulses and indicates a change when it's time to switch position in the mouth.

I have no problems at my dentist visits, and I know that I am doing a great job with this toothbrush. I now use this toothbrush with the Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet for an exceptional clean.

Pain of an off system - Nick Orciuoli -
A complicated running system where it should simply shut itself off, it does not, I find it quite irksome.

Best Toothbrush I had - Peter D. Jansen - Lousiana, USA
This is a great product -
I am using Braun electric toothbrushes since over 30 years - I am always happy with them - but the 9000 series beats everything!

Oral-B Professional Care SmartSeries 5000 Rechargeable Toothbrush

Oral-B Professional Care SmartSeries 5000 Rechargeable Toothbrush Review

This will be a long and detailed review. If you don't want to read it all, I give you this quick summary. Great product, well worth the price at amazon. Best clean you can get and has many useful features. I have never had healthier teeth and gums. Read further for more details.

This product is simply outstanding and in a class of it's own.

I had a situation in which my gums are not in their peak condition, and that is putting it lightly. I have had this toothbrush for just a touch over two weeks. I also drink coffee every day, only 1 cup though. Since I have been using this, my gums are already noticeably healthier, my teeth are whiter, and I find it easier to make sure I brush at least twice a day. I think this is mostly because of how much I invested into this product. At this point I have nothing but good things to say about this toothbrush.

I also have my wisdom teeth fully grown in and this toothbrush is small enough where I am able to reach them and give them a proper cleaning. My wife is also using it with a separate brush head.

The device takes a full 10 hours on initial charge before use, as seems to be normal for most NiMh batteries. At first the backing on the timer is a bit confusing and difficult to get off as the instructions do not help. Once you figure it out though, It is quite easy to master.

Positive feedback:
Now onto a more descriptive part about the features this offers. Since my gums are sensitive to begin with I can only use the normal clean and sensitive options until my gums are healthier. The other modes are a really nice feature that I plan to use when I can.

The included 2 sided tape is nice for when you want to mount it to the wall.

I really like how both the toothbrush and the timer give you an indication of when to switch quadrants in your mouth every thirty seconds. The timer will blink and display that you should be working on the next quadrant. The toothbrush pulses every 30 seconds and pulses 3 times every 2 minutes. (I personally don't think 30seconds is enough for each quadrant so I often spend more time after brushing to give my whole mouth a quick once over.)

Once you get the timer set and mounted it does make a nice restroom clock as other have said. After charging and setting the timer, the toothbrush is easy effective and gives the best clean I have experienced sans a dental visit.

Also a side note, I asked my dental hygienist which toothbrush they recommend for electrical as they said I should get one. This one came at the very top of their recommendations. Before this I was using Oral-B's cheap electrical toothbrush. The difference is astounding.

The container for the extra toothbrush heads is very nice allows you to let the head dry out while not connected to the handle. They brush heads are very easy to remove and clean. The different color rings are very helpful if you have more then 1 person using the same style brush head.

The travel pack is a really nice and touch and is compact too.

Best clean you can get without visiting a dental hygienist.

Negative Feedback:
The back plate on the timer is a bit unwieldy at first.

The toothbrush is a bit loud but not as loud as the dollar variants.

IT would have been nice if the battery came pre-charged. It would also have been nice if the timer also came with a rechargeable battery solution.

It is expensive and costs way too much at a standard retail store(0).

It only comes with 2 brush heads.

GREAT dental hygene - clean freak -
This power toothbrush is GREAT!
I have been using manual toothbrushes all my life.
I should have switched to electric brushes long ago.
The ORAL-B Pro 5000 is perfect for getting all residual
material and giving a clean feeling after two minutes.
I highly recommend this product

From Sonicare to OralB - Hegel Who -
I have been a Sonicare user for the previous 15 years. As a dentaphobe, I will always be grateful to Sonicare for keeping my mouth cavity free for my 7 year hiatus from the dentist- though to be fair, I also drank mostly water (vs. sugared drinks) and made sure to brush and floss twice daily, chewing sugarless gum throughout the day. Still, I found the Oral B a very nice upgrade for several reasons:

1. NO ICKYNESS IN THE BRUSH HEAD!!! Sonicare brushes are notorious for getting all this disgusting gunk stuck up inside the brush head, leaving me with a sense of wonder about what exactly I was putting in my mouth, even after rinsing the head thoroughly in alcohol.

2. Smaller brush heads. I finally feel like I am cleaning my wisdom teeth, which stick back almost to the uvula.

3. Circular brush heads. Dentists always say to brush in circular motions, yet typical Sonicare brushes only go side to side.

4. Using the floss-action head truly leaves less behind when I floss right after brushing.

5. Another reviewer mentioned the fact Sonicare does not offer either soft bristled brushes or a sensitive mode.

There were a couple downsides:

1. Noise. The Oral B seems much louder, likely because the brush is moving in a circle vs. just side to side.

2. Vibration Speed. One of Sonicare's main tenants for their brushes is that the sonic action itself gets rid of plaque/germs. The Oral B does not seem to vibrate quite as much- though flossing seems to yield fewer hangers-on, and does not just compact any recently-eaten food- such as cracker mush.

There are other benefits, which Sonicare has also added to its latest greatest brushes, such as timers and better chargers. Still, I am happy with the switch- I'll just see if my dentist notices =)

I'm returning this brush. It doesn't stay charged very well. Even though the battery indicator on the brush shows a full charge or a 3/4 charge, the brush is wimpy and weak. I'd have to charge it every 2 days to keep it at an acceptable strength.
I've owned an Oral b Vitality for over a year that beats this one hands down-and it's a brush. I thought I was upgrading buying this one, but I was wrong. I'll keep my cheap brush that actually gets my teeth clean. I'll never waste my time or money on a ritzy brush like this ever again.
