Philips Sonicare Elite e7300 Power Toothbrush

Philips Sonicare Elite e7300 Power Toothbrush Review

I convinced my husband that this toothbrush would make a perfectly acceptable Mother's Day gift...in 2002. My husband and I used this brush 5-6 times per day for 7 years and it finally gave its last performance. Some electronic part beneath the power button finally broke and it would no longer turn off.

I will replace this brush with another Sonicare toothbrush (am still investigating which model). I have been extremely happy with Sonicare's cleaning results (we even bought our children the Essence model).

I have a lower brace that tends to collect plaque and my gums would easily bleed at the dentist's office. Since using the Sonicare daily, I do not have as much build up and my gums don't bleed during dental visits.

Another plus: The battery stays charged for at least 7 days, so for any trip shorter than a week, we would not even pack the charger.

I know that the expense puts this toothbrush out of reach for many people. However, once you commit to the expense, it is well worth the money. I believe that it has increased my dental & gum health, which is worth a lot to me.

watch the button - Pnc - NJ,USA
one year after my purchase, the top button made of rub wore away. so, water can flow into side! Then, the switch randomly worked for electric problem inside. I'd to seal the cleft on the button with tape, but no way to get back to normal function. now this brush seems useless to me.
Try to protect the button with particular care.

hx7300 MADE IN USA .best series out there.. had longer than 3 years now. - Chad Entringer - Green Bay, WI
Extremely high quality and gets the teeth feeling like I have just left the dentest every time!
Mine has model hx7300 noted on the bottom and says "MADE IN THE USA".
Keep it up Philips and keep making these here to ensure the high quality.
Will buy again and again.
They have me for life. :)

On-Off button wore out - Michael Smith -
I have had two Sonicare toothbrushes and they both failed the same way, the on-off button wore out in about 1 year. Does a good job brushing, but will send you to the poor house. Also, as noted in several reviews, once the batteries are done so is the unit.

I won't be purchasing a third unit.

Pay a little now, or pay A LOT later !!! - Doc - NJ
My hygienist recommended the Philips Sonicare toothbrush to me a while back, and am I ever glad I listened to her. It WORKS! I was lucky enough to get one (the e7300 model), for about from Amazon back when it was being first introduced in 2008. Ever since I started using it, the number of cavities and the amount of tartar and junk on my teeth has decreased, and has virtually been elimintated now. Having some replacement brush heads makes a lot of sense too, doesn't it? It does feel pretty weird to use it at first. It's kind of tingly, but you do get used to it. My teeth have never been cleaner, and I don't remember the last time I had a CAVITY-FREE checkup! Now, my last 3 checkups have been flawless. Problems & pain in my teeth and are now things of the past. Those Dutch designers know their stuff! ('Philips' is a Netherlands based company). So do yourself a big favor and BUY ONE. Clean your teeth with SOUND WAVES! It's a good thing.
